101 in 1001 Update
I just updated my 101 in 1001 page--yes, I am making some progress! Mostly in the book department--slowly working my way up the Newberry and Caldecott lists(#10 & 81). I've found a few interesting Caldecotts, but most of the really old Newberrys have been pretty slow. I did enjoy Dr. Doolittle.
Other goal progress of note were some home improvements we got done with my parents this past weekend. Mom sewed the curtains for my hot water heater (#64) and dad helped Than mount them, so that goal got marked off without much help from me!
Nathan and I finished the summer reading program (#77), and he is very proud of the prize book he got to choose, a board book about zoo animals (a current hot topic at our house!)
We've also enjoyed visits with parents and grandparents over the past two weeks (#26-29). No, we don't do it just to mark things off on a list!! The goals are just my way to reflect what I think is important to do with my time, and family is certainly way up there!!
Well, that's the major progress for now. Hopefully more posts soon--some new photos of Nathan, and maybe even something more creative!
