Josh Groban
Wow, what a birthday suprise! Last night I thought we were going out for a nice early dinner downtown, but after dinner we ended up walking not to the light rail station, but to the Pepsi Center! And who should be there, but Josh Groban! Than had purchased tickets as a late birthday suprise, so while I was waiting for a delayed package to arrive on the front porch, he was making plans for Nathan to spend the night with friends so we could stay out late at the concert. The music itself was absolutely amazing. Josh was very good live--filled the whole Pepsi Center with that rich, strong sound that I just love. He was fun to watch in concert, too, really seemed to be enjoying his job. Definitely a way different experience than just listening to the CD! We had excellent seats, front and center of the first row of the balcony, so we could look straight onto the whole stage and see everything going on (from the exalted height of 3 stories about the ground!!) It was a wonderful suprise and worth the cost of the trip.
