Quote 1
In the interest of variety, I am hoping to add a new kind of post to the blog. When I feel like writing but don't have any fascinating Nathan tidbits to share, I'll choose a quote from my vast personal database and explain why I like it. You can either ignore these posts, read just the quote in case it is cool, or read the whole thing to learn odd and random things about how I see things from my window. Whatever! Here goes..
"Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has not heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains." --Winston Churchill
I like this one because it is funny and because it speaks to the fact that sometimes your views aren't so much the only right way to think as they are a reflection of where you are in life. Not to say that all truth is relative and there is nothing that is absolutely right or wrong, just a challenge to think about why I cling so strongly to some things at certain times.
