Quote 11
"The world cares very little about what a man or woman knows; it is what a man or woman is able to do that counts." --Booker T. Washington
This is a good challenge to book-reading me, to actually put the things I learn into practice rather than just sit on them. It is especially applicable to spiritual knowledge--putting truth into practice, the difference between knowledge and real wisdom. I also like the philosophy that it represents from the man who said it--a man who believed the best way to achieve racial equality was to prove it rather than fight for it.
