In the Interest of Honesty...
Lest you think that every day is perfect over here with a charming, happy child and sweet, creative Mommy, I must admit to a particularly rough go of it yesterday. Nathan woke up with a whine in his voice and it was not far away all day long! Toys wouldn't work right, breakfast wasn't right, mommy wasn't right, the world wasn't right--whatever! Unfortunately, I don't always control my temper well and his annoying whining led to mommy's annoying shouting, which wasn't good for anyone. We definitely had our ups and downs all day long, and were very glad for naptime and bedtime! All was not terrible, of course--we also enjoyed a walk around the block with "Sadie" the "dog" (a tennis ball on a string) and collected leaves to make leaf placemats, and we enjoyed doing several puzzles together. I just wanted to remind myself and anyone who reads that, while I normally post about all the fun things that Nathan is doing, there are plenty of hard moments too. In the interest of honesty...
