Veggie Tales!
Thursday night Nathan got to see his first movie on the big screen! Than was invited to an advance screening of the new Veggie Tales movies, due out on January 11. We decided it would be a fun way to see what Nathan thought of things, so we went. He was very excited, although his experience proved to be somewhat mixed by the end. He got VERY upset during the opening credits when Bob and Larry disappeared in time for the movie to start, and he was scared at various points during the adventure, but he was mesmerized too. It was interesting to see what he liked and what he didn't like, and to see what a big effect the tenor of the music had on his emotional response. Than and I were impressed with the quality of the movie overall, so if you get a chance to see The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, we'd recommend it.
