Quote 39

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense." --Ralph Waldo Emerson

The optimist in me says "Yes! Do it! Every day is a chance to start over and move on!" There is a part of me, however, that says "Don't let go. Remember the past, to treasure and to learn from." There is value in letting go and in moving on, but somethings are either too valuable or too painful to be discarded that quickly. Today, I feel more of the second attitude and less of the first.
