From My Window

Well, we've been waiting for a baby and God decided to send one! Today, however, He sent Kaye's baby instead of mine! Mom took her into the hospital at 4 a.m. this morning with contractions. Than picked up Bryan from the airport after muddling through the snow and traffic and waiting for a plane delayed by mechanical failure. I enjoyed some processing time with my friend, made some phone calls, and eventually ended up at the hospital as well while Than stayed with Nathan. The baby was born at 1:30 p.m. He was 7 lbs. 3 oz. and 19 inches long, a healthy sweet boy with chubby cheeks and sweet serious eyes. Here's the family photo. Nathan was a little in awe of his new cousin--we'll see what he thinks of his new sister when her arrival is induced on Friday!!
