Still Waiting
Well, our sweet girl still hasn't made her appearance. I was hoping my next post would be her picture, but while we wait here is a photo of the beautiful quilt my mom and sister made for her.
It is, of course, much cooler in person. The butterflies are such bright patterns and colors and the quilting is done in rainbow thread on the white background in a swirling pattern of flowery butterflies. It is a quilt to be enjoyed by a girl as well as a baby! Here are some of the butterflies...
It is very hard to be patient, especially with everyone so excited to see the baby. I am still hoping she will make her appearance before she is scheduled to be induced on Friday, so we have some time to enjoy her before mom and Kaye leave on Sunday. It is hard to believe that God's timing is better than my schedule, but I will trust that He knows better than me what is right!! Hopefully the next post will have a baby picture!
