In the spirit of great adventures, I left Katya with daddy and brother at a friend's house and went with my friend to see the movie Prince Caspian. When we returned, Than and his friend went to the movie while my friend and I stayed with the kids. It was well worth the trip, both the freedom of getting away for a few hours and the experience of watching the movie. The film is darker and more violent than the first movie in the series, but it also has better developed characters and stronger moral and Christological themes. I would recommend it to adults and older kids, especially if you are able to talk about it afterwards. There is much to be explored and Than and I had a good discussion about it. Take a trip to the theatre!
