Quote

(Caution, this quote was chosen completely at random by the number generator from www.random.org)
"When you go into court you are putting your fate into the hands of twelve people who weren't smart enough to get out of jury duty." --Bing Crosby

I've never been to court and I've never served on a jury, but this quote strikes me as slightly funny. I know, it is also irreverent, and I really do believe that trial by jury is an important part of our legal system and a right not to be taken for granted. I guess I just filed this quote because there are so many jokes about how to get out of serving on a jury. I've been called in twice, but the first time was the day before Thanksgiving so we were dismissed after a few hours and the second time I didn't have to go (you can call ahead the night before to see if you might be needed).
