The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful!
The Good:
After a grueling 3 hour oral examination, Than was unanimously approved by a panel of E. Free pastors to proceed towards certification in our denomination. What a huge relief and encouragement to him in his ministry!
Nathan and Katya continue to enjoy each other and learn how to get along, a process that will continue for years I am sure.
I've had fun in the kitchen lately, getting a meal ready for a friend and thinking about holiday cooking for this week and the month ahead.
Dark chocolate covered orange sticks, Swedish fish, or banana chocolate chip cake
Warm enough weather for Nathan to ride his tricycle all the way to the library and back while Katya rode in the stroller
The Bad:
Nathan is busy not taking a nap, and being rather noisy about it!
Katya still wakes up around 4 a.m., and I'm not convinced I'm a stern enough mommy to make her stop!
Needing to vacuum after every meal to accomodate a baby learning to eat.
No snow to water my thirsty lawn and garden
The Beautiful:
Katya's smile
Nathan's laugh
God's faithfulness to our family
