From My Window: Checking In

The orange smile--leftovers from staff lunch this week. Kaye and Rayce came over to help. Tacos on the menu, which worked well for hosting our small group for dinner that night too. The next night I enjoyed time with my friend Kristin, who spent the night while our husbands were at the Father-Son campout at church. Kristin brought us dinner and we enjoyed playing with the kiddos, several rounds of double solitaire, and the first DVD in my Anne of Green Gables set from Christmas.

Katya is getting into this whole exploring/playing/getting around thing! She can still be super clingy at times, but her crawling skills are improving fast and she enjoys choosing her own toys, pulling them off shelves, and then choosing some more. Nathan's room is one of her favorite places to play (as shown in the above photo). He is learning to be more tolerant of her explorations, and I try my best to keep her from causing too much trouble.
